Great performance for the 2 Westfield's that Rallystar sponsors
at the 2nd race of the GTCC 2008 series

A great performance for both Rallystar's Westfields! This was the result of their appearance in the 2nd race of the GTCC 2008 series.

Competing in the top class category against slick-tires equipped machines, the Westfield 1600 Sport and the Westfield Megabird in factory normal and road-legal tires set-up, achieved 8 th and 3 rd position respectively. Nevertheless, the managed to attract the attention of the spectators more than any other participant! The first ever appearance of Westfield in any kind of racing in Greece was warmly welcomed by the crowd who enjoyed the screaming engine sound from the Megabird and the firm racing lines of the 1600 Sport machine.

Given that both Westfield drivers have very limited racing experience, the future results seem to be very promising for both Rallystar drivers. Some more practice, a new set-up and a set of slick tires will possibly lead both to more podium finishes and wins!

Nikiforos Pitaras (3 rd place): I tried to take full advantage of Megabird's power and maneuverability on the twisty and slippery track. The capability of the car is really high and I need to familiarise myself a bit more with it. I believe to it and I think that better results will come up soon. I would like to thank Rallystar, my sponsor, for all the support it generously offered to me. I hope this support will continue.

Antonis Papastathopoulos (8 th place): I really enjoyed this event and I am looking forward for more. I was satisfied with the car, it was friendly. With a few upgrades I believe that it will become more competitive but what I need more is practice. I would like to thank my sponsor, Rallystar, for the support. There is potential for more.
