Under the management of the N. Sguassero family since it was established in 1956, the Company has enjoyed continuous production of a wide range of "Composite" products (GRP - FRP - RTR) covering many applications. The quality of these products is well known and is supported by an extensive list of references both in Italy and throughout it's export markets across the world.

N. Sguassero S.p.A. is an accredited UNI EN ISO 9001 holder and all its Plants are covered by this certification issued by D.N.V. (Det Norske Veritas). This means that all products and services are supplied to high quality standards.

The Company is clearly "Customer oriented" and as a result is always ready to work closely with its Customers to achieve practical and economical solutions to their problems, using flexibility, unparalleled technical expertise and product knowledge.

During more than 40 years of continuous activity in the production of Comporsite (GRP-FRP-RTR) materials, N. Sguassero has acquired a vast technological knowledge and reached a high level of know-how. The products consist of pipes, fittings, vessels, and special pieces made of FIBERGLASS and THERMOPLASTICS (PVC-PVDF-PP-PE-PVCC) reinforced with FIBERGLASS.

The piping is produced for the application in the following sectors:

. Industry: process and services;

. Civil Works: drainage, sewers, aqueducts, irrigation, sea water piping;

. Power Generation: cooling water, firemains and F.G.D. pipework and scrubbers;

. Marine Division: water ballast, cargo system, bilge, sea water cooling systems, tank cleaning, ventilation and general services.

N. Sguassero can provide assistance to the Customer for the design of the system and in particular for the following applications:

. Piping for Marine & Industrial Systems: stress analyses, positioning and dimensioning of the supports and of special joints (expansion, vibration, damping, etc.); issue of drawings and assistance on field for the design and installation;

. Piping for civil works: static calculations and anchor blocks positioning, hydraulic verifications, technical specifications for the supply and installation, drawings of the laying sections, of special pieces and wells;

. Vessels and special pieces: design and issue of drawings, basement and support calculations and drawings.

In the marine sector specifically N. Sguassero has been involved for over 20 years in the design, supply and installation / supervision of fiberglass pipelines on board commercial and passenger vessels.
