46 YEARS IN THE SERVICE OF THE INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING COMMUNITY

Damcos' core competencies are marine tank management, valve actuation and tank measurement, intended for use on ships and in the oil and gas industries.

With 50 years of experience, every solution - whether worked up by single components or as complete management systems - is backed by extensive know-how and a strong passion for the marine business.

Damcos' competencies comprise three main areas of expertise:

Marine Tank Management (MTM)

Marine tank management by Damcos is an intelligent system solution for complete monitoring and control of a ship's tankrelated functions. It includes everything from sensors, instruments and systems to the various components needed on as well as below deck, such as valves, actuators, level transmitters and radars.

The Damcos marine tank management solution is based on a customer-specific system configuration which ensures optimum installation and performance. The result is a reliable, cost-effective and user-friendly system that makes tank management a simple undertaking.

Valve Actuation

The Damcos range of valve actuators encompasses various levels of automation - from the simple, manually controlled hydraulic system to the highly advanced electro-hydraulic computerized system. All Damcos' rotary actuators flaunt the multiple-helical spline principle, offering increased stability and durability.

Tank measurement

Tank measurement can be carried out using either a level transmitter or radar technology, depending on the contents of the tanks.

The Damcos MAS 2600 is a state-of-the-art tank contents transmitter, designed for use on board all types of ships and oil and gas industry units, e.g. in ballast, fuel oil and service tanks and draught measurement. The advanced and reliable solution is the definite leader on the marine market and has been successfully installed on thousands of vessels.

Radar technology is used on product and chemical tankers in cargo-monitoring applications.

These three areas cover the entire spectrum needed to design complete customized control and management solutions for any type of ship as well as for the oil and gas industries.
